As I was riding past on my highly decorated pink cruiser, this free box caught my eye, and I made a loop around to document it:

A couple hours later, on my way home, there adorable little pink bicycle had a new home!

Tomorrow, June 21, is the Summer Solstice, longest day of the year, Father's Day, the free box scavenger hunt in PDX, and the first day Issue 16, Ladies of the Free Box, will be distributed, perfect timing!
I hope you have a fabulous day whatever your Solstice brings, hopefully many free boxes.  That said, if you are in Portland, Oregon, please celebrate by putting out a free box~

2015 Pedalpalooza Free Box Scavenger Hunt!

Join me and my lovely co-host, Meghan Sinnott, this Sunday, 6/21/2015, for the second annual Free Box Scavenger Hunt! Form a team consisting of 2-4 peeps and meet up at Proper Eats this Sunday after the St. John's Sunday Parkways ride and show off your free box skill with this epic scavenger hunt. Bring a camera or phone! There will be prizes! We will meet at Proper Eats at 3:30 and the scavenger hunt starts at 4 p.m.

After heading out Monday to go busking with the Sinking Ships, I found this amazing plaque that will definitely get good use next winter.
